Reasons We Don’t Open the Door:

Renew My Relationship

God says to the church in Thyatira:

Revelation 2:19 “I know all the things you do. I have seen your love, your faith, your service, and your patient endurance. And I can see your constant improvement in all these things.”

To the church in Sardis, God says,

Revelation 3:1 “I know all the things you do, and that you have a reputation for being alive…”

To Thyatira:

Revelation 2:19,20 “I know all the things you do. I have seen your love, your faith, your service, and your patient endurance. And I can see your constant improvement in all these things. But I have this complaint against you...”

To Sardis:

Revelation 3:1 “I know all the things you do, and that you have a reputation for being alive – but you are dead.”

They were getting caught up in ___________ a lot of great things for God, but they were neglecting __________ in a relationship with God.

Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”

Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

TRUTH: Small compromises lead to major failures.
